Thanks to those in support of this class and hope you get to vote on the general archery discussion forum of archerytalk.com with the poll being taken. Thanks to all of you who don't support the class also. It's your vote. Only hope you consider what you may want when you do reach 50+ yrs.

I think its a great idea also....And the HC class rules are also a good idea, We have several shooters that are 50+ that come to our club shoots and I know they would like it also....
But....What about the women..are you gonna seperate the two like the HC and the FHC or is it gonna be a combined class.

This is the class alot of us AGING GUYS have been hoping for . I have shot with the scope, I have shot the long yardage with pins, I have shot with my Hunting bow, and you guys are right , when I was young it didn't matter, but now at 59 my eyes and arthritis don't let me see as good nor hold on target as long. I have tons of bow stuff just laying around, old scopes and l-o-n-g stabilizers, but my best tool now is that Huntin Bow at 35 and under. I know a lot of guys in the AARP group that have quit because they just don't feel competitve any more because they just ain't got it anymore for the long shots, especially when you have to compete against the younger guys. Yeah I hear a lot of talk about getting the young kids into shooting , but if we forget that the old guys are great teachers and should be kept around and have some competiveness among themselves also. then the IBO isn't really accomadating a very large segment of bow HUNTERS, who would like to be competitors. By the way Ken, someday your going to be in the OLD group too! Just wait till the eyes go bad, the arthritis aches, the kness hurt, and the fingers aren't as limber to feel that delicate touch on the bow trigger. Still love ya anyhow.

rcher, thanks for the web site address, it has been awhile since I had used it., and yes I did vote YES. Someday when people really begin to think, about how much older Americans are living today and are still very active, they might realize that we need a class unto ourselves as OLD HUNTERS. Thats what I am, and I am not sorry to want to shoot my hunting set-up in the IBO HC group, just put me up against my real Peers is all I ask, and don't force me to buy stuff (scopes, Stabilizers, high dollar bows ,etc.) I don't want just to shoot the MSR!!(Male Senior).
