I am curious why these classes are considered amateurs? I have had many "pros" tell me they wish they had the skill it takes to shoot a longbow.

When you shoot against the quallity of shooters in the longbow class such as Keith Baine, Bill Leslie, and others I would think you are shooting against the pros of that class.

The recurve classes are much the same.

Yep those fellows mentioned are pros in my book!
