I'm thinking of getting one myself.

Zero Effect Arrowrest(tm)
Solves These Common Problems
PROBLEM Incorrect arrow spine creates an erratic arrow flight regardless of care in tuning.
SOLUTION Because the Zero Effect Arrowrest drops out of the way on release it cannot affect the flight of a wrongly spined arrow. You should still pay attention to arrow spine for safety reasons, but tuning problems are gone forever.
PROBLEM Nock and fletching misalignment causes arrows to "slap" rest as the fletching clears the riser.
SOLUTION If you've ever tried to get your fletching to pass cleanly through the little slot between the prongs of your arrowrest, you know how frustrating it can be. The Zero Effect Arrowrest is "gone" by the time the fletching reaches the riser, and so is the problem.
PROBLEM Arrow flight changes dramatically from field points to broadheads.
SOLUTION Changes in impact when changing from field points to broadheads are many times attributed to the broadhead "flying" differently when in fact they are actually "flexing" differently across the arrow rest and changing point of impact. The Zero Effect Arrowrest eliminates the need for mechanical broadheads by removing the affect of variations in arrow flex across the rest.

Yeah it has alot of great features, I just wonder if the bad out ways the good. Seems like some of the guys on here are having trouble with alignment and stuff. Just curious, pretty expensive rest just to wonder how good it is.

I agree with ya vortec...Golden Key, it can't do any better job. The rest are still far and few between in this part of the state. I've seen two and that was special ordered for a guy I never took them out of the pack. I think I will let someone else break them in for me. Thanks

gottabeahoyt... Is the Coal Mountain that is listed in the location the place near R.D. Bailey? If so did they bag any nice bucks down there this year? We went down there last year in the spring to scout that place out but I ended up going to Logan.

I am not to familiar with the zero effect. I have been shooting the Trophy Taker for two years. Been on a several different bows and have nothing but good to say about it.It is easy to set up and never has failed to perform as advertised.
I have set up quite a few of them for friends and they all feel the same way.
I know of a couple that initially shooters had a problem with them, but both were set up to pick the arrow up too late. Once set up right they worked well , also.

Sure is vortec, i live about 5 minutes from the lake. Their was quite a few great deer killed down here this year. Best one was a non typical 191 5/8. It was absolutely awesome to look at and killed about 3 miles from the lake. I also checked in probably 5 bucks better than 140. The kill was down but what was killed was impressive.
