Ken,
In the mag. and in your opening letter in the new rule book you state " x-ring will now be scored as an 11 at all IBO events. Inside-out scoring will be 11,10,8,5,and 0 "The last part of that statement has caused some confustion. Thier are alot of people that take that as a linecutter will only be counted on the inside part of scoring ring. Now I do not see it in revised rules so I think it is still the same as before. I take your statement as" The scoring will be from the smallest ring in center of vitals outward . "
Please clear this up for me and many others .

I thought I did. I guess I just thought I did.
Scoring will be the same as always:"touch the line"for the higher score. Article referred arrows scored from the middle out.
Sorry for the confusion.

This, as well as the other rule changes for this year, took effect following the Fall directors meeting. Since the IBO shoot year runs from Worlds to Worlds, any qualifier being held this Fall or Winter should be using these new rules.
