punching in the wind
The wind is my nemisis. I know it affects everyone, but I think it blows harder for me. My problem is that there is one shoot every year (Laughlin Nevada) that is like shooting on the moon in gusting wind. I hate the shoot, but it's part of the Arizona Bowhunters Assoc. triple crown and the store I shoot for expects me to be there. I usually choke that shoot and the next one after that. Dang that wind. Is it mental or what?

RE: punching in the wind
I normally hang around the bowhunting and technical areas but I just had to respond to this <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> . . . there is no wind on the Moon <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>

RE: punching in the wind
Process your shot. It affects everyone. I shoot in West Texas and all of our shoots in the spring are in the wind, so I know exactly what your talking about. Also, don't be afraid to let down.
