The answer I gave to your initial question was not totally correct. I assumed your question was asking if there were sight extention limitations unique to the Hunter Classes. In that regard, my answer was correct, as the same limitations have always been applied to these classes as any other class. Past limitations have been held at 12" extentions for all classes allowing sights. So, yes they were limited the same as everyone else. If my answer in any way confused that issue for you, I appologize. However, that was the past. This spring at the BOD meeting we were able to complete the re-write of our rule book that we had been working on for several months. The extension limitations indicated above were not included as a part of that re-write. I'm sure none of the directors will soon forget the teadious task of editing the wording of this document on a line by line effort. In the end the BOD voted to accept this re-write with immediate application, which brings us to the rules currently in force.
