I am thinking of getting a Dozen A/C/C shafts, but My arrow must weigh at least 350g. From Easton's site I got that the A/C/C 3-39 weighs 232g@ 27". Can anyone give me the Screw in insert, 4" fletching and knock weights So I can get my total? Is there a chart somewhere on the net to get this info?

I cannot find an easton screw in insert for your arrows anywhere but I can find a PDP tapered insert that goes from 5/16" to the size of the shaft(makes it ewasier to pull carbons from 3d targets). But Anyways the PDP insert should weigh about 10gr. and g- nocks for acc's weigh 7gr. I am not sure exactly what fletching you,re using but I would guess 3 4" to be like 10 gr. or so meaning to get your 350 gr. you would need shoot a 85-95gr. point hope this helps

grndzer, is there a particular reason for your arrow to weigh 350gr? are you trying to shoot them out of a 70lbs. bow? if you try vanes over feathers you can add a considerable amount of weight to your arrow. also, try using a heavy point possibly 90-100gr. the vanes should keep your FOC under 12%. again, what are you trying to accomplish?

Grndzer, I shoot 3/39 ACC's 28 3/4" long with Bitre noks, 3" Easton Diamond Vanes , Easton half-outs and Easton 50 gr. screw in tips and my total arrow weight is 346-348 grains. Hope that helps.......

Shooter, I am trying to get as close to the 5gr per lb rule as possible. I Have a Hoyt Cybertec and it is rated a 304fps @ 70lbs. I have it set @ you guessed it 70lbs. Closer the better but I cant seem to get any closer then maby 380gr with alum shafts.

Are you absolutely positive you want to shoot the ACC. You might want to try a Internal Component System type pure carbon like a Carbon Express, PSE Extreme, Gold Tip XT Hunter, and etc... These type shafts weigh in at 8 grains per inch for the same given spine stiffness of the 3-39. They will save you alot of money too. Thier straightness factors are the same as the ACC (.003). A fully set up shaft with a 75 grain field point and 4" AAE fletching will put you at 340-345 grains. You could even crank your draw weight down and shoot 68 pounds. The CyberTec will easily break the 300 fps plateau with that set-up.
