I'm not sure where Pinnacle SP is, but I see deer everyday here in NE Steuben County (close to Keuka Lake) and have seen a few bucks over the past couple of weeks starting to nub out. I saw alot of nice bucks in the area last fall and no one seemed to get any of them during season. Hopefully, alot of them should still be around and should be bigger this year. As for bears, I've never heard of so many people seeing bears as I have over the past couple of years. My neighbor that lives a half mile from me saw a bear on his property yesterday. He had some of his bee boxes ripped apart last fall. My uncle who lives near Hammondsport had a bear come into his yard back in march and it took 2 feedbags full of apples that were sitting about 10-ft. from his bedroom window. All he found were tracks in the mud, but all of his neighbors saw the bear roaming around. Too bad there's no bear season here in 8P or 8R where I hunt.

I have three hundred acres just west of the Pinnacle and have seen more deer this spring than I have in three years, alot of very young deer, which means it wasn't a harsh winter. Saw a group of five bucks all with good growth already. I have a good feeling about this year
.
On the down side, I have also taken a few pics of coyotes with my game cam[:@].

I hunt between bath and savona by the rod & gun club (and live far away unfortunately) and the people I hunt with have seen bear in their backyard just this spring for the first time. Bucks are nubs still but there are a lot of em from what they say.
