I did okay, filled my freezer with 3 archery does and another with a gun. Overall deer and buck sightings were both down for me this season. I don't know why? There were a lot of nice deer around this summer. Hopefully, a good number of bucks made it through gun season...

Here a 167" bruiser that a buddy of mine killed the second day of archery season here in Prattsburgh...

I'm sick of seeing snow. Sure can't wait for spring turkey season to get here!!!!!

Ended up with 1 doe. Blew shots on 2 different bucks, one on the final afternoon of muzzleloader season. Didn't get as much time out as I had hoped for.

Wow...That Prattsburgh buck is a beauty...Congrats to your buddy..That's a MONSTER buck for Steuben.....

I did not have a chance at a shooter buck all season, but lost some hunting time because of an injury to my right hand...

I did manage to kill a couple of dinner does, so my Sweetie and I have our meat for the winter..

110 # 8 point and a 98# doe in WMU 8P. Already had 2 deer in the freezer before I got to NY. Steubin Co is awesome for deer hunting.

I was just curious because 5 of my buddies and myself go up down there every year and hunt private land .
I was the only one succesful in filling my tags .One decent 8 point and 2 does .
Not one of my buddies got a shot at a deer .
Kinda wiered I could see one of us getting bad luck but not 5 out of 6x ?
We hunted first 3 opening days of gun .

Tracker... I think the weather on opening weekend saved a lot of deer..Opening day was a washout, and the second day was windy...

Overall, I think the kill for the season was pretty good, at least average...

Local deer processors that I know were very busy this year..

Pygmy , I no what you mean on the weather .
I shot the buck on my way in to the stand .
It was raining and foggy as I made my way up the hill to my stand .
I never even got up the steps , when I spotted the buck standing abought 75 yards farther up the hill standing in the tall brush .
