GUILTY or NOT? Claude Dallas

I read the story and it looks like justice wasn't served in this case but we've all seen cases where it's not about being guilty or not, it's about who has the best trial lawyers and he must have had a good one.

Just because a man has a badge and a gun doesn't automaticaly make him a good guy. Live and let live I say. You want to go and play with fire, don't cry about it when you get burned. Who started the trouble in this case..........exactly my point. The hell with em.

Being in law enforcement I can tell you that there are bad people posing as police officers, people is people, catholic priest, president etc...
It is because of people like claude dallas and other scumbags who kill police officers that we are trained to be the authority figure and not MR. smiley. Different story if you're approaching someone you don't already know is a criminal, treat with respect and hopefully you get it in return. Was the dead officer a PR$%k? Maybe, but how many of you would pull a gun on an officer after he draws on you instead of putting your hands up and how many of you would make sure the officer is dead by putting a 22 through his head like a freakin possum? That final act is the clincher. There goes your self defense arguement in front of a REASONABLE jury. Next time I have to be a PR@#K maybe someone should put a bullet through my head?

Pouge was not the man to go after Claude. Pouge was even harrassing friends of mine before the incident and they are upstanding citizens. Yes Claude killed in cold blood and there is no excuse. Claude and Pouge had bad blood long before this happened. Pouge had a habit of sticking his nose where it didn't belong and intimidating people, even those who were living by the law. Don't get me wrong here because I am in no means defending Claude or saying that an officer shouldn't have been there to arrest Claude. But at the same time I will never defend Pouge either. Connely on the other hand got the bad deal. He was in fact a good officer and a good all around guy. He was just doing his duty. For Pouge this issue was personal as was with Claude, and both were ready to settle the score.
