I was wondering if you boys from St. Mary's Co. know what kind of deer are around the area? Have you seen the picture of the 22 pointer taken last year? If not I'll try and post it.

I saw a picture at "Tackle Box" in Lexington Park where the deer was checked. It was an awesome buck. It was taken on a farm near St Mary's City, I believe.

If it's the same one I'm talking about it was taken down on St. Jerome's Neck Creek Rd. which is about 20 min. South of the base on 235. That road is about 5 miles long but where I hunt is about 1 mile on the other side of 235 from where that road starts. I heard the story and saw the picture and got REAL excited. Maybe I can get his brother this year.

Yeah, that sounds right. Anyway, I don't get to hunt down there, but best of luck to you. I'll be concentrating on the base and one little piece of land up near Leonardtown. I'm also going to hit the River Park and Calver Cliffs a few times.
