Now is the time for PA hunter to unite!

Okay guys, some are happy to see Alt gone, others aren't. That is all in the past now, all the debating over his project is over! Now is the time that ALL Pennsylvania hunters need to let the Game Commission know what we want done. I suggest that you write letters, e-mails, or visit meetings and let them know exactly what everyone has been blabbing about. Let them know your opinions on the deer herd and let them know what you would like to see done. I have already sent out a rather large e-mail letting them know some things that I would like to see done! This could be a blessing in disguise if we want it to be. We need to voice our opinions on micro-management programs and a more accurate deer count! Lets let the PGC know our thoughts as we are gonna have a "clean slate" and we need to tell them what we feel is the best way to do things.

Not only letters to the PGC but also to your state senator and representative and let them know its time to clean up the PGC and the DCNR. Tell them we are sick and tired of what these agencys are doing to the PA deer herd and we want it stopped.
We need to unite in this.
I want to be able to take my grandson deer hunting when he is old enough and not have to go to a zoo to show him a deer.

I agree, this fighting is not doing any good. Heck I heard of fist fights in the woods around here over the issue. One old man shot a doe and another guy wanted to kick his butt for doing so.

I hate to be the one to burst anyones bubble but you can't deal with the PGC. A few years back I tried to deal with them concernin the flouresent orange and turkey huntin issue.I was armed with petitions with 1000's of signatures of local hunters and also an offer from the NWTF of $250,000 to go towards turkey hunter safety education. They politly listened to what we had to say but they had thier minds made up before the meetin ever started.Bottom line is,They will do what they wanna do and could care less what the hunters want.

the state legislators is where you want to be heard. They have their hands on the throat of the PGC especially when it comes to rate increases.
contact your legislator tell them NO increase in rates till an INCREASE in deer numbers. you can bet the timber industry is ready to line the pockets of the legislators statewide.
Get to a legislator and get your point across...no deer no $$$$$

More than ever now is the time to get to harrisburg and make you voice heard on issues of the special interests running the PGC.
Stand up to DCNR, Big timber, and the ecoweenies in conservation groups that want to limit your hunting, reduce your herd, and push thier ecologically extreme habtiat agenda.
Write you legislators, write the commissioners and urge them to select a new deer manager that will give a crap about hunting in pa.
