Need help on glue
Hey Guys, Hope everyones unting season is going well. On my way to work last week I saw a dead buck on the side of the road,I've seen him live what a beauty he's a 9 pt that will score 120-130. After I pulled over and went up to him he was still warm but very dead so I called the Readington NJ police to get a tag so I could claim him. I brought him to my butcher and the only meat we lost was the one hind quater. Another hunter was there with a beauty of a 8 pt with a messed up cape.So he asked for mine so he could mount his deer,Because I was'nt gonna mount mine cause I did'nt shoot it. Which brings me to my question,I am however doing a skull mount, while I was cleaning it the small bones on the nose end broke.WHAT TYPE OF GLUE DO I USE TO FIX IT. After I glue it i'll use my other treatments for making the skull white so if anyone could help it would be a help thank you.

Be careful if you glue the pieces together before whitening. The harsh chemicals may degrade the glue.
You might be better off to bleach the skull and the pieces, then glue. Just a thought.
I made a really nice euromount with this years' buck. Taxidermy is expensive. It's a really good idea for those deer that are nice enough to show off, but are just too small to warrant a full shoulder mount.
Let me know what bleaching method you used. I just wrapped in cheesecloth and soaked it in a pan of bleach. I was careful to the bleach off the antlers and keep the cheesecloth soaked, and all turned out well.
I boiled the skull in mom's turkey roaster. If she only knew, she'd kill me. : )

RE: Need help on glue
The skulls all clean and i'm soaking it in colman fuel for 2 weeks then My whitening method will be clorox 2 with color bleach. That wont affect the antlers. Then I will glue the little bones back on.
