Whay would be my best choice of glue for nocks and inserts on aluminum arrow shafts?

Ferr-L-Tite hot melt for inserts. For nocks, FletchTite or Duco works fine. I've used superglue for nocks too.

I put some plastic over the arrow then push the nock on so I can then index the nock.

Could you explain that trick a bit more? We're talking about swagged type nocks correct?
