That's exactly right NJbowman. Alot of these parks have been "hunted" contrary to what many were led to believe. Local hunt clubs have been pushing the deer out with "no guns" for years. Hell the northern part of Crosswicks Creek Park is surrounded by a tree nursery and they have a permit to shoot at night. The deer in Clayton have also been chased out and shot at for years. That's why I couldn't understand why they opened those parks, they have been "hunted" and the deer numbers and trophy bucks aren't there like the parks on the eastern side of the county.
