He has 28 years in with the state and the state has reworked the pension plan for the employees. And he stated it might be to his benefit to retire . He will decide by the end of the year. But he feels good that all he started will continue.

You should all know by now I am not a Alt supporter, BUT the man has a personal life away from the PGC and deer management. I won't dwell into it other than to say all those rumors last summer did have some merit. He was going thru a divorce and was protecting himself. I know friends of his/her family ...it was messy.
Enough said about that I have no problem with the man. It is his deer management I detest.
Currently he has been offered a title position for the PGC but for all practical purposes he is still "the deer management head"..............................so SAD for the deer!!!!!!!

I can't blame him for leaving if he does. Yes, Rendell has changed benefit packages and many state employees that had the years in have retired rather than lose the benefits. Any one of us would do the same thing.

like I said before the rumors did have some merit last summer not because of Rendell's revamp but because of the messy divorce he was going thru. Ancient history at this point
