I must have read the court decsion wrong or something. Everbody is upset but you have to read what it says. Yes, NJ will probly lose the next bear season..BUT- the court has forced the state to put in place the checks and balances that are required by the game laws of NJ to allow a hunt of bears. The court has actually agrued the case for a hunting season, once the bear has been consider for protection and propagation.

Now for the BAD news...if this campbell guy WILL NOT listen to his bioligists and game council..then the hunters of NJ need to persue your REP's and Senators to remove him or pressure him to change his opinion. This crap is happening all over the country...states hire wildlife bioligist but dont listen to thier facts or ideas. Or even worse, put it on a ballot for the usually uneducated voter to decide. That is crazy...how many of us are wildlife bioligists with all the training and education to make a rational decision in a voting booth. I wish this best to you bear hunters and hope you guys get your season.

One has to wonder if the Com. of DEP is going to pay back the Division (out of state monies) all of the costs required to prepare for this season, staff time, printing, postage, and the possible loss of Fed. monies. Oh wait.......he's on the other team I almost forgot! Over 100 hrs of wasted time in the last two weeks!

How about all of the biologists time with 6 weeks of 12 hour days of trapping and tagging studies that will yield zero results. It probably cost us tens of thousands of dollars to put earrings in bears.

The next thing you will see is that the division does not have a comprehensive mgt. plan for deer, turkey, rabbits, squirrels, coyotes, groundhogs and now there is a ruling from the state supreme court that Bradley can stop whatever he wants whenever he wants! Politics has now taken over wildlife management based on sound science! The end is not near, it is here! Wake up folks and don't waste your time on Brad, make each and every day the gov. is in office regret he is allowing his com. of DEP to stay there! The good old days concerning wildlife and hunting for all NJ citizens is right now and it is because of Div. biologists, hunters, anglers, the Fish and Game Council and there ability to manage the state's wildlife to its fullest potential for all to enjoy. We are about to lose what it took years to develop......Brad must go!

There are two ways Campbell can go. One is to elect a Republican governor next election. That's too long to wait. We need to make sure Corzine and Codey know the problems Campbell will cause him in the next election and get him out now.

if there is a petition to get CAMPBELL out! let me know how i can sign[:@] this is more than about just killing bears. i would like to see bears in the future and if the population isint managed things can only get worse. if someone gets hurt or another pet or livestock gets killed they should hold only one person responsible. SOUNDS LIKE THIS CAMPELL GUY IS JUST ANOTHER POLITICIAN AND WE MUST GET HIM OUT!!!!![:'(]

Print this out, sign and fax to Codey. Make copies and get other to sign it, even if they don't hunt or fish. if you get a bunch, save the originals and get them to me to put in our fax database.

Yup. Not many people get it. They just think they'll buy a license and hunt (or fish) every year. Sure they'll complain about earn a buck or antler restrictions or them "damn gun hunters" but when push comes to shove they really couldn't care less. Can't take a few hours of their time to show up for a meeting to insure they can hunt in the future.

Me, I've got three boys that will grow up and hunt. I'm not ready to pull camp and go to a state that is friendly for hunters or gunowners so I'm going to fight until it's over.
