Default any MASSACHUSETTS hunters

Just seeing if anyone is hunting mass. I am and man last year was my first year hunting and I had seen a hell of alot more deer by now. Even seasoned veterans are tellin me that the deer are not bein seen much at all. I thought maybe the acorn crop was the cause in my area.

Any other Mass hunters let me know how you are all doin.

I GUESS U GOT TO BE THIER AT THE RIGHT PLACE AND TIME, ALL WE CAN DO IS KEEP GOING OUT THE SIGN THERE . IKNOW IT GETS FUSTRATING BUT I CANT GET NOTHING IF I NOT IN THE WOODS, GOOD LUCK HOPPFULLY THINGS WILL CHANGE FOR THE BETTER!!!!

I have seen a handful of does here in Berkshire County. I haven't had 1 shot opportunity yet. This season is horrible here. Neck4752... You are right... all of my friends who usually all have a couple by now are all saying the same thing. Nobody is seeing squat.
Very weird.

Hey guys, another Mass hunter here. Well sort of. I live in Mass, but have pretty much given up hunting here. It's Conn for deer, and NH for grouse. Once in a while I'll hunt western Mass for grouse and woodcock, but maybe only two or three days. Mass has been good for waterfowl, but not really my thing. Anyway, I have seen some good deer sign in a few spots, and even have seen some great bear sign which I plan to check on in the late spring. Who knows? Maybe next season I'll try my luck at that. Well, good luck.

I was out scouting zone 4N yesterday. Fair amount of general sign, lots of scrapes though. Saw one doe ...tracked her almost 1.5 miles and got 50 yards from her.

Buddy took a doe w/ his bow a bit over a week ago in Zone 11.

Lots of people seeing rutting bucks at night/early am in various parts of the state.

It does seem like there is less deer out there. A few of the past several winters hit the herd hard in some sections of the state.
