I was out scouting zone 4N yesterday. Fair amount of general sign, lots of scrapes though. Saw one doe ...tracked her almost 1.5 miles and got 50 yards from her.

Buddy took a doe w/ his bow a bit over a week ago in Zone 11.

Lots of people seeing rutting bucks at night/early am in various parts of the state.

It does seem like there is less deer out there. A few of the past several winters hit the herd hard in some sections of the state.
