Got another one today, a nice big beefy 140 class. Unfortunately, its at least 3 years old and the tree rats were enjoying it
Jamie....Where from bud? Mass? if so, what part? I can probably give you a hand finding these things. The first one is the toughest.

I haven't found any yet this season, I usually find a few every winter/spring in the areas that have a good mast crop, this year my areas are void of any acorns and beech nuts. I'll still be looking in other areas now that the snow is going.
Five in one season is pretty good in my book, you must do very well for that to be a slow year, good luck in finding more.

got 2 more today....this snow is a major pain in the butt though....still alot in the woods. I'm tellin ya.....this is the worst year ever. i can'y believe it. i should have 25 by now....its starting to get discouraging.
