Not a thing todate. I have seen one gut pile posted right by the parking lot by the bridge week before last. Tracks noted all over but no deer physicaly seen. The only ones I have seen are headed south on 28 in Montgomery County on the left side in a large field one large doe and a fawn.

Since I did not draw the Elk hunt in PA I am off from the 30th of Oct till the 13th of Nov had use or loose leave on the books. So I shall be with you all on the 5th. Going to walk the area and try to find the stand areas and mark them on my GPS and post them here.

davidlj,

We would be glad to have you join us. You dont need to mark spots, I know that place like the back of my hand, I'm like a human GPS unit. I will get you in and out of the woods with no problem, just ask Slice...

Beside the Lefty and Slice getting lost debacle on Sat, the deer action was pretty good at Monocacy. Much better than the week before, we saw a fair number of doe and a couple bucks in one evening. Things are looking good for the Nov hunt, the action should be real hot by then.

Lefty, I forgot you guys even went hunting last Saturday. Where did you see the deer at? And how big were some of the buck that you saw? I went out to my land up here and didn't see a stinking thing. My brother went out as well and passed on a doe so I may take his stand tonight. I just want to get some meat in the freezer first.

Me and slice were way in the back, were we hunted last Sat. I had a button buck come in to about 8 yards and stop broadside....Slice saw 2 doe and a spike. Mossy and a few of his buddies were on the front side, one guy saw a decent 6 point and they saw some doe as well.

Went out again last night and still didn't see a freakin' thing !!!! Hopefully I can get out tonight since it's really cold here today which should have the deer moving. I guess the best thing that happened yesterday was getting to watch the Ravens lose yet again.. Don't worry Mossy, there's always gonna be next year. Hopefully no one on the team will have to serve any time in 2005. He//, half the stadium will probably be filled with parole officers.

Rick-

Lefty said he's taking off work today. Knowing Lefty, he's still burried underneith the blankets, snug in his bed right now. I wouldn't look for any pics until at least noon!!!

Congrats, Lefty!!
