How many of you MD guys hunt MD public land? No need to give up your spot, just curious about the numbers.
I'll start it off - 100% public land hunter here... I like to call it "exclusively public". Snappy ring to it!

I hunt about 90% public land. There is a lot of good public land in MD, and if your willing to do some extra leg work you can find places that are as good as private land. One of the main public areas I hunt, I have hunted for 5 years and seen probaly a total of 10 other hunters the whole time.

I'VE HUNTED SOME PUBLIC LAND, BUT I DON'T KNOW OF TOO MANY SPOTS.
I HUNTED LAST SEASON AT HOPKINS IN KENT COUNTY WITH MY BUDDY, HE NAILED A BEAUTY 145 CLASS 8 POINTER THAT DRESSED OUT AT 200 LBS.
I WILL BE GOING BACK THIS SEASON !
I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO FIND MORE PUBLIC LAND TO HUNT OR MAYBE I'LL START KNOCKING ON SOME DOORS.

Exclusively public , huh , all it takes is a little leg work and there are land owners who will let you in. You get alot more "no" than "yes" but you never know when you might find yourself a honey hole. As for me I live in Harford county and it's about 50/50. love Millington, Liberty, Indian Springs and my favorite Dans Mountian.
