Here is a link and I'll clip/paste a few paragraphs.

The Council will discuss Growing Greener II, outdoor tourism and long-range funding for Game and Fish and Boat commission infrastructure needs, Schlemmer said. Council will also discuss Sunday hunting.
That's an issue that figures to get more attention soon, as state Rep. Marc Gergely, a McKeesport Democrat, is getting closer to introducing a resolution that would direct the Legislative Budget and Finance Committee to study the economic impact of expanding Sunday hunting opportunities. The study would also examine whether Sunday hunting would lead more kids to try hunting and explore how to protect landowners who don't want Sunday hunting on their lands.
More than 40 states allow Sunday hunting. Pennsylvania does, too, but only to a limited extent. Hunters can pursue crows, coyotes and foxes Sundays, but that's about it. Gergely would like to open things up, particularly for deer around urban areas.

Speaking from a kids stand point , YOU better belive sunday would help me bag more game, i have practices all day saturday usually , and im too beat to go out for the evening hunt , i usually fall asleep in the tree , ( not good) , also i think it would help alot of folks like my dad that works 6 10 hour days a week , he is an adivid hunter , but i think is not as serious as before due to lack of outdoor time. its sad really , as for the farmers that dont want sunday hunting , let them keep it tight on sunday , and let the guys jsut go to SGL's on the sundays if they really wanna hunt , as for me , i would still be able to hunt on my uncles farm anyhow so i want sundays 110%

As much as it pains me to say this, we will get Sunday hunting before Rendell is out of office. I would love to have Sundays to hunt. I'm all for it. I just don't want Rendell in office. He'll make it happen one way or the other just because of the economic benefits to the state....not simply because a majority of PA hunters want it. For that I would thank him....then vote him out!

Doubtfull DL. We've had a change of plans and won't be camping anywhere near Kinzua. We'll be down around Salmon Creek near Marienville. I'll get to fish for trout, but I'd much rather be hitting the res. for 'eyes. Good luck to you if you go, it looks like we could have some off and on storms all weekend.

Jason N ... has the rain really made the streams raging rivers ? if so that sucks for the trout fishing issue , but maybe good for lake fishing , as some will have gotten washed out of the mouths and into the lake , im not positive yet if im hitting the RES yet or not , im thiking about it jsut to get away for a few days.... if your plans change drop me a note , and we will maybe get together ...

All the streams and river around here are chocolate and blasting.....not good for the river 'eyes or browns even. I haven't been up to Kinzua for about a week, but a bud lives about a mile from it and fishes it regularly.....it's up about a foot, but just off color....he's been doing fairly well. In the northern end its coming in pretty heavy and muddy, but it disipates quickly and the lower portions are quite fishable. Doubtful the plans will change again, I've got friends coming froming Butler and Ohio that already have directions to Salmon and they'll be there Friday morning. But, if they somehow do I'll try to get a hold of you.....it's the log camp right beside graybill, right?

All the politicians complain about students being left behind. Maybe if we stayed in school on the weekday and could hunt Sunday it would solve all the education problems...
well maybe not all of them, but at least we could hunt Sundays

I am glad to see it finally moving forward. I have never claimed to understand the current argument against Sunday hunting. Hopefully we can work with all the groups to find a good resolution to the issue.
