My buddy and I are talking about going on a whitetail rifle hunt. Just a few questions for you fellas. We would be willing to spend anywhere from $2,000-(about)$4,000...hopefully more towards the 2K side. We want an extremely reputable outfitter with an opportunity to shoot a moster(150 and better if everything works out right). To us, this is a once in a 5-10 year hunt so we want a good one!! Location isn't an issue. Saskatchewon(sp?), Alberta, Ontario, Montana, Illinois etc... all the way down the line. I do not have any personal experiences to share as I have never gone on a guided hunt. However, if I was in your position and did not know where to start then I would probably look at US Outfitters via Cabelas...if I remember correctly. I have heard quite a few good things about them and continue to see their endorsements on a variety of the televised hunting programs.

Maybe one of the others can provide more specific info on other reputable outfitters.
