Hello......I was wondering if anyone has been on a Moose hunt in Newfoundland. I'm planning a trip this fall. There seems to be a lot of outiftters out there. I'm having a hard time picking one. I wasn't sure if any members had gone or knew someone that has. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks.........John

I have never hunted moose there, but have hunted Woodland caribou twice and will be going back this fall as well. There are a number of good honest outfitters on the island. If you aren't already booked, you will probably have a hard time getting into a good outfitter this year unless they have a cancelation. If you do a search on this site, you will find information on NF. Also, Bowsite has alot of info on NF:
