Newfoundland Moose Hunt?!?! Anyone been?
Hello......I was wondering if anyone has been on a Moose hunt in Newfoundland. I'm planning a trip this fall. There seems to be a lot of outiftters out there. I'm having a hard time picking one. I wasn't sure if any members had gone or knew someone that has. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks.........John

You should post this question in the North East Region forum.
I was on holidays in Newfoundland a few years back and there were a LOT of moose. One evening we drove up the west side of the Island and saw I think 15 moose. The next day we drove down the same stretch of highway and saw 18. Bulls(some big ones) cows and calves. If I lived in the east and wanted to shoot a moose I'd go to "The Rock".
