I know its a little early but I've talked to some people in Iowa and the Dakotas who are finding fresh sheds.I also read on another site about a guy in Ohiopyle that has found a few already in that area.I went out last weekend and saw several deer but only one was a buck with both sides.I did'nt find any sheds either.

My dad shot a deer in the late ML season that had dropped its antlers, I also know of one other one shot - same thing.

Keep your eyes open - they are starting to drop.

I've been seeing some very large bodied deer (compared to others around) with no antlers. If they are not bucks that shed already, they are some awfully big does.

Even the little bucks have started to drop here. Saw at least 5 half racks since xmas around here.

during the late season we found few deer that still had antlers....and that was the first day....we seen probally 100 deer during the late season....and maybe 5 had antlers...and 2 or 3 were half racks already dropped the other half...rifle season a few of my friends killed deer that shed a side already...and the last saturday i had 10 walk by infront of the truck and i had to follow them down the old farmer road i was on and then they can by me during the drive at 40 yards....none had antlers...2 had much bigger bodies then the mature does....probally bucks or huge does...i shot a huge doe that was bigger then the bucks at the butcher shop in that area so there are some huge does...but probally bucks that already dropped.....and we found a gutshot deer my friend wounded on a rainy day....we found it a week later...it was that deer for sure because it had a leg that was hanging by hide....he hit it in the gut and it made it a long ways from the shot sight because we kept driving trying to get it up again...we never seen it again but found its remains the next saturday....it was a shedantler buck......theres some sheds out there.....
