Real nice deer! Doug, wasn't this deer killed with a muzzleloader? If so I was just wondering why your buddy has an arrow in the pic. The deer's coat also looks like a late summer coat. Please don't take offense to my observations, I'm just curious.
The above pic I'm referring to must be one of his bow kill pics...

Jimbo--the deer in the pic is the one I took several years ago (you asked to see it and I sent it to mdbowhuntr). The late summer coat is because I shot him on Sept 18th that year.

That's the last time I plan on having my deer harvest pic taken in the back of a pick-up! The site of the kill is the place for that.

I just tried emailing the 11 point picture and the 8 point bowkill, both from this year. to mdbhntr. Rick, let me know if you got them. It took so long for the emails to send on this slow computer that I left it alone and assume it went through, but I'm not sure. If they didn't , I can try sending them separately instead of both in the same email. They are in a format I'm not used to seeing, but for some reason, he couldn't save it in jpg. Back in August, he sent me a camtrakker picture of an 8 point buck that might gross around 160, but it is in doc format, which PABwnhtr could see but couldn't attack to a thread...

I will also be getting his 8 pointer picture from last week soon...

Ohhhhh, I'm a little slow sometimes . I see now that mdbohuntr said it's "Dave's" deer... That's a beautiful buck. So that's how they grow 'em up here in Harford County huh?

I'm guilty of that too!

Rick,

I just now resent both pictures (10:20 PM) individually this time. The second is transmitting as I type this. The "sent items" folder indicates that the last email did go through, but maybe it was too big. Each is 2.11 mb or so. If it were my work email, it would have been sent much faster. I tried emailing the pictures to my work email, but it got blocked because of the "eml" extension for some reason. I am also sending you the camtrakker picture of the big buck that is still walking around out there (the one I sent PAbwhntr). I don't suspect you can post that one, as it is in doc format. Hopefully, at least it will go through and you can see it for yourself...

Thanks Rick! Did you receive the camtrakker picture?

Yes I did but couldn't do anything with it, wasn't even able to see it myself. Sent you an e-mail on it.

Boy Doug, your buddy's deer are both whoppers. Tell him congratulations on his late season success! His hard work paid off big time!
