I didnt get out this a.m. have a terrible cold and wasn' t about to sit in the cold and shiver, first opening day I' ve missed in many years, probably 40 years or so. But I did get out and ride around the farm, nobody got anything, I saw Duckmastor' s pickup parked in a field near Woodland Beach , waiting to see how he made out. I am going to get out tomorrow they will be hunting the refuge and chasing them right over to my stand, especially that big one..... 14 pts.

i am thinking of sitting a state stand on wed...with my bow. i would never hunt from one in archery, but i love the bow and the possibilities that it brings. i will let everyone know. i do know that a stand near some corn can pay big.

Yes lemond the owner of the farm saw it a couple weeks ago and last week I put up a stand where it was seen, I havent seen it so cant advise you, a buddy I hunt with in Sussex County told me about one on his farm that is the biggest he as ever seen he says it is Boone and Crockett, we are going to try for it next week a couple days....
