DE hunters, any good spots in NCC?
It' s good to read about others hunters from DE. As you can see I' m fairly new at this message board thing. It looks as if most of you hunt down state. I' m from the Newark area and I gota tell you it' s tough finding a spot in New Castel County. Sure there' s White Clay Creek state park and Lums Pond but that ain' t real hunting. Ive done my share of letter writing and knocking on doors but haven' t gotten permission yet. Anything south of Black Bird is a bit of a drive and hard to do during the week after work. Do any of you have any suggestions for NCC spots?

A good place to hunt has got to be Summit Aviation, they put up a high fence to keep deer out and now the deer are trapped in there, they have been afraid they would get on the runway and damage airplanes as they were taxiing, if you know anybody there you might check with them if you bowhunt. It wont hurt to ask.

That' s an exellent choice Ron. Never thought of that. My wife and I were riding past there on 896 one Sunday last Oct. and in the field across from summitt bridge farms developement, still can' t understand how a developement can be called a farm, were 5 bucks along the fence [] One was a dandy laying down.
