I'm jumping ahead here for a minute...what eastern states have laws protecting them?
Reason for asking is if there is no law in your state and you did "see" a lion would you shoot it? Or would you just tell your story and let it pass?

no way i would kill it.its kind of MAN thing with me being in woods ,kind of not being GIRLIE BOY.

In delaware if there is no season for the animal, then it is an invasive species and legal to kill. Hell yeah i would shoot it, a lion hangin on the wall freakin awesome!!
