New York magazine had a recent article (well, come to think of it, I was in a doctor' s office, so it might have been really old) about all the NYC folks buying up land in the Catskills. Not only does it drive up the price and push the locals out, but just try hunting w/ all the " city folk tree huggers" posting property they don' t own, and etc.
