I don't think he was suggesting that the success rate had to be 100% or that all 800,000 hunters had to be successful. Don't go blowing things out of proportion.

Wrong again. nothing i posted indicated I thought deer hunting was an entitlement and the fact that 800K hunters were never successful is not news to me. But the fact remains that when we were harvesting 200K buck /year the herd was as healthy and more productive than it is now that we are harvesting 40% less buck/yr.

The fact still remains that the herd was reduced for the benefit of DCNR and the timber industry and and it had nothing to do with herd health, the breeding ecology or better hunting.

sometimes we get dealt a bad hand.
when elected officials dont do what you want vote for someone else. Since the gov gives the boc seats away, start with him and lawmakers.
Or we can whine on here, thou it hasn't been a help yet.

Didn't the PGC reduce the length of the doe season in a couple of WMUs ? Did the PGC get their license fee increase?

What proof do you have that hunters comments didn't effect the decision by the PGC?
