[QUOTE]It does help to have desire however.I'll guarantee that I have less time than most people to hunt and scout but I find a way.Hunting isn't supposed to be easy. It's a shame that so many people expect it to be[/QUOTE

The fact remains that no matter what the hunters in 2G do, they can't harvest more deer than they are harvesting now on a sustainable basis.

BTW, who said that the hunters who aren't successful, want it to be easy? Maybe they'd just like to see a few more deer.

The solution is simple enough. Hunt smarter, harder or more often and you will see more deer. Instead of sitting at the computer whining for endless hours about your lack of success, get out and scout/ plant food plots/gain premission to new property/ find the deer!

It is not the duty of the PGC to provide you with a parade of deer past your stand. Get off the computer and get out in the woods and learn how to see more deer if that's your goal.

amen btb

the sgl are there for people to hunt on, last i knew people can hunt there. If people dont like the deer numbers on the sgl,I simply see it as go elsewhere.

Nothing you have said has struck a nerve. What has struck a nerve is your hoity-toity, pompous attitude.

That is an absolutely ridiculous solution for the 800 +K hunters that didn't harvest a buck last year. They could have hunted harder, scouted more, planted food lots and moved from one end of the state to the other and the sustainable buck harvest would not have increased. Like so many others that still have good hunting , you only think on the level of the individual hunter and totally ignore the fact that the herd is being managed based on the fact that we have 924K hunters. A selfish, narrow minded view of deer hunting and deer management prevents you from seeing the big picture

There you go again, acting like deer hunting is an entitlement.I got news for you.Never in the history of Pa has there been 100% success and never 800000 hunters been successful.
