yep, a year either way. We use three different sets of tooth wear charts and try to be consistent by looking at all three. The biger one was aged seperately by a taxidermist and his opinion was the same. Actually, the smaller rack had slightly more wear in places. It's not a perfect science of course, it's merely an estimating tool.BTW, the smaller rack still scored 120" with two broken tines. The photo doesn't really do it justice.

I have only seenthree 2.5 or older bucks in my life that were not able to meet ar. 1 since ar and 2 prior to ar. I have never seen a spike older than 1.5 in my life. Always young in my experience.
