RE: ARs= The Survival of the Weak and Scrawny
The big 5.5 was Illinois, the buck on his right is a PA 3.5. The second 5.5 was PA last year.
Found every one of em on all four feet and then killed em with an arrow.
All were aged by the lower jawbone

The 5.5 spindly buck you harvested must have been an inferior 1.5 spike since it lacks the mass of a normal 5.5 buck. i am really surprise you would have harvested such an inferior buck after ARs were implemented.

What method was used to judge the age of each buck. Simply referring to the lower jaw bone tells us nothing about the aging method.

Forgive me, I incorrectly assumed that you would understand the process. In case you ever harvest something over 6 months old these might come in handy. The system isn't perfect but it's reasonably accurate.

Ha ha ha. Nice to accept crap and pgc mismanagement when you have a good spot in Illinois to ahem..."hunt". (LOL)
My lil' 7 year old nephew could kill a decent buck in Illinois! (LOL)(LOL)
