The big 5.5 was Illinois, the buck on his right is a PA 3.5. The second 5.5 was PA last year.

The 5.5 spindly buck you harvested must have been an inferior 1.5 spike since it lacks the mass of a normal 5.5 buck. i am really surprise you would have harvested such an inferior buck after ARs were implemented.

What method was used to judge the age of each buck. Simply referring to the lower jaw bone tells us nothing about the aging method.
All were aged by the lower jawbone
Forgive me, I incorrectly assumed that you would understand the process. In case you ever harvest something over 6 months old these might come in handy. The system isn't perfect but it's reasonably accurate.
