AR is the best thing to happen to the PA hunting situation.

HR has made our state almost no fun to hunt and is killing the sport.

The only thing we have left is the idea that a buck we might see has the chance of being bigger than a spike.
I agree with you on AR, the HR has to end soon,as Saturday was witness to a complete lack of hunters. no shooting no chatter on the radio.
We had fresh snow, perfect weather just no one hunting.
As hunter numbers plunge those left will be able to kill unlimited antlerless deer to maintain the ridiculously low population goals.[:o]

Will you still say that if the data shows that ARs actually decreased the rack size of 2.5+ buck like it did in Miss.? There is no reason to believe it didn't happen in PA since all of the studies show that is what should be expected.

This is how the Urban dictionary defines corprate .

corprate whore 1 thumb up
Someone who lives for the sake of promoting products or corprate intrests.
Maybe the drip is at your end.:)

corprate isn't defined yet.

I'm sorry but your point is missed. [>:]
Maybe if you spelled better I coulddecipher a way to discredit your point . But at this time I have not a clue what that point might be.[8D]

Bluebird,
I'll ask you this AGAIN:
WHO are you? Who do you represent? and what qualifications do you have to dispute the claims the PGC and hunters are making concerning the benefits of AR's?
What is your background and what makes you any more qualified to judge than me, my experienced hunting friends, taxidermists, RSB, the PGC, or my cat for that matter?

See because here's what cracks me up........my real world boot-leather hunting experience over the last several seasons have SHOWN me with my own 2 eyes, MORE bucks, and yes BIGGER bucks. Myself and several of my friends have all taken our best bucks BY FAR in the last 3-4years and we're seeing some REAL quality bucks consistently each season. Some of these are even being taken in the "Dead Zone" of the dreaded UNit 2G where we have a camp.
But yet you tell us we're idiots and your charts and spreadsheets call us liars.

I have taxidermist friends and visit several others that I know because I have an interest in taxidermy and they ALL say that for sure they are getting in MORE and BIGGER bucks each year.
But yet again your little spreadsheets and numbers arguments call THEM liars as well?
I can give you their phone numbers and you can ask them yourself?

SO Mr. Game Biologist for the state of PA, what makes you more qualified with your number charts, "2.5yr old this High grading that", than me, my friends and people I know who have all seen with our own 2 eyes, MORE and BIGGER bucks?

So how do we know less than YOU do when our eyes, scouting and actual hunting experience tells us otherwise? We're all just nuts right?

bluebird just wants to shoot the first spike buck he sees and feel good about it. Probably goes to his style of shooting at any deer he sees knowing he has a buck and a doe tag in his pocket.

I have insider info that he only shoots deer from under his back porch roof.
He never get's opportunities at 2.5 year old bucks because they don't walk on grass in the daylight.
