I' m not worried about the deer as much as the turkeys. Been seeing good numbers of birds, but I' m thinking the entire NE must have had a pretty good mortality of last Spring' s hatch.
Deer were out like mad last week in NY, MA & CT. Most of the snow was finally gone. They were looking pretty knarly, and were still in their winter herds.
Probably will have a reduction in fawns this Spring, many does will abort mid-term if they can' t support the fetus.
