It would make life a lot easier for me where I hunt is right on the border of Center and Clearfield counties. Which would open up a lot more land for antlerless hunting.

that' s the way its been in NY for quite some time
its a very good way to help conrol the deer populations (u can adjust harvests according to populations in a certain area)
with counties, you may have a large portion that is private land and another portion that is public and the harvets should be different
they actually changed our areas a few years ago to help adjust some areas that had disimilar populatins
it would stink if the areas split up your hunting areas, but its for a greater good
hopefuly they will make the areas based on populations and get it right he first time

good luck

I agree w/ NJBowman. I have hunted in NJ for the last 3 years now and even in that short time I can see improvement in the areas I hunt.

I am a little " torn" as well...no pun intended. There will be two separate management units for the areas that I hunt and they are only a mile or two apart.....

pabowhntr ,
on that map , are the zones divided by the highways ? for example area 3d , is it actually consisting of monroe , part of northampton , part of carbon , pike , part of wayne , etc.... , or is it a little different than that ,

please respond
