"Do you LIKE T-Zones? You support them?
to tell u thr truth i hate em! There was no need for em this yr!!! especially where I hunt! Which is my uncles, and its all farmland. We hardly didn't evev see any bucks! I think maybe 2 the whole bow season. So then they put out a tzone. which we saw barely 2 seer a nite....which is pretty SAD! No offense to city people that come up and hunt 1 time a yr. for t-zone or rifle. But MAN! They have no respect what so ever.... but i do know some that do. so dont get me wrong.. We have people that come up here from Milwaukee. they have a cabin near us. They tresspass, they shoot at us. its WW 2.....!!!!!!!! But do we need this t-zone **** that ruins the bow season and the rut.!
Alot of people shoot bbefore hrs. and mistake bucks for does. Man I wish i could be a Dnr deer manager. These deer need to be managed correctley or soon there will be non around.

Do I like T-zones? NO, but I understand the need for them. Never participated in any of the t-zone seasons.
Do I support them? Absolutely! The DNR would not implement them if it wasn't neccessary. They are costly, and take time, resources, and man-power away from other activities. The units in the T-zone will shrink again this year. The sooner the need for the October season is eliminated, the better. JMHO.

Prove to me there is and I don't have a problem with T Zones.

Sag: If it is, it won't be from a lack of me bitchin.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle> I think they'll all get thrown out in the spring. UNLESS They try and slip in an unexceptable ulturnative. Will you be attending any upcoming meetings or hearings? Maybe we could hook up with logs and bigE for lunch or coffee. Get your Turk tag?<img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle> What Zone you hunt in?

I've made 2 of the last 3 spring hearings. If I can get off work an hr early this year, so I can get in, I'll be there.
Haven't recieved my Turkey tag yet, zone 7, some people started recieving them last Saturday!!
I deer hunt units 14, 59C, and 76A. 59C and 76A were in the T-zone in 2000, but NOT in 2001.

I do favor the December Zone T hunt. The October season, I despise!!!! I am bow hunter, who gun hunts. I went up the early Zone T to watch my property to make sure no LOCALS trespassed, (Even though I am from the Milwaukee sub-urbs.) I never hunted the early Zone T to leave it untouched for the rut. During the gun hunt, I passed on numerous bucks (we practice strict QDM) and several does because it was too hot to shoot something to leave it hang. To me, a big buck would have been worth the hassle, but not a doe. In the December Zone T, I went up and shot doe for the freezer. I ended up, cutting that one up the next day because it was warm once again. I would favor a December Zone T, but not the October season. I am hoping a 16 day gun hunt will be the answer for it all.....but I doubt it.

No, just have a 16 day gun season with the extra days added to the 9 day gun season.
(Not even sure on this one) I drew for unit 5 4/10-4/15. Also got one for zone 2 for May.
Live and Learn
P.S.-Any spring meetings down here in southeastern Wi area? (Kenosha County)

nope i hate um' they wreck one of the best weekends to bow hunt and attract all kinds of dumb hunters who shoot at anything thats brown...i think they should just issue more free bonus tags and forget the early t-zone hunt...
