I just bought a new Stealth Cam 35mm from the new Cabelas in Fortworth and I put it in my living room to try it out. I noticed the noise that it makes and I was wondering if that would scare off deer. Any suggestions?

I have the Stealth Cam and just got a roll back yesterday. I have used it for two years with no problems. I set it to take one picture and wait for five min. before triggering again. I have some pictures of a doe and twin fawns in my plot and they were there in three pictures within 15 yards of the camera. I don't think it bothers them too much but each deer, like people, has it own personallity and may be a little more "spooky" then the next one.

Same here. I believe the deer notice it but I cannot believe that it seriously scares them or deters them from your hunting area. I have seen the same animals on too many rolls of film over an extended period of time to believe otherwise.

My 35mmm double reflex noise from the flipflop of the mirror scares them every time. It is very metallic. Almost sounds like a rifle bolt just not as loud. I have scared them with it at 40 yards.
