What do Isee in my crystal ball?I already seea lack of pressure and an increase in nice bucks.Mt crystal ball says that if we can continue to harvest enough deer to let the habitat recover, our best hunting is yet to come. For those that stick it out, there will be unlimited opportunties. It's happening now and it will only get better.
BINGO!
The future's so bright, I gotta wear shades!

I agree. As long as we survive the finacial crunch, the rest of it looks pretty bright!

Oh yes we'll survive the finacial crunch just fine but the PGC won't come away unscathed ! They'll loose control to the DCNR in time. under the DCNR any deer dead is a good deer. Anyone foolish enough to not see that coming might still believe in Santa Clause

Oh you'll survive, there always plenty of button bucks to kill, too bad all the other unfortunate hunters in your area will go without because of your actions.

What doI see in my crystal ball for Pa?
An all outonslaught on BB. The vast majority of hunters in Pa want only to kill a deer.
Most of theorange army sails into camp Sunday want to kill a deer Monday and leave for home Tuesday AM. Matters little if that 1 deer they saw all day at3:30 is a BB or not it's going in thestew pot.
Your wiping them out on your own. In this post you seem to condemn it but yet.....

Heck no I don't condem the killing of a BB done legally.
As a matter of fact I'm happy for the sportsmen/woman that harvests any legal deer. Now how many other HN posters will come out and say that? I do know there are few avid posters who condem the killing of BB because they're wannabe trophy huntersthinking a dead BB is one less potential 2.5 yr old for them to harvest. To me that is just plain unsportsman like to not be happy for them.

Idon't shoot bb's because they aren't worth my time to process. However,I boggles my mind that people think they're helping the buck numbers by passing on a bb and shooting a mature doe. You're still killing a buck either way.It really doesn't matter one way or the other. The percentage off bb's harvested has remained stable for sveeral years. You can't blame lack of buck sightings on guys shooting bb's.

How is killing a mature doe killing a buck regardless? Doug, that is totally an assumption. You need to understand that not all pregnant doe give birth to a male offspring. It could very well be twin doe fawns, it could be a barren doe which is not unheard of in PA and yes, it could be twin male offspring too however if a doe is taken prior to breeding there is even more of an assumption that she is bred at all.

I'd still sooner take a mature doe, or a fawn doe more specific over a button head every season of my life. Taking out 5 buttons and no doe is nonapprehensible against an already unbalanced herd.

I see people that care buying tracks of land to manage as they see fit ,I see the 2 day a year hunters will quit and the only loss there is money.
Thedoe hunterswill continue to whine the stupid will continue to be stupid we will never stop stupid people from doing stupid things just to show how stupid they can be.

I see my hunting getting better because I own land and can keep the stupid at bay,we cut trees we plant crops we do all we can to keep a very high deer population on my land and anyone that would like to see how it is possible can stop by anytime.WE kill no doe never have never will surrounding land owners kill enough for all thats how we are sure not kill our B.B.

Some of you need to focus on good ,the evil will always be there just remember "stupid is as stupid does!!!!!"
Your goanna kill the bunny.
