No ACTION!

This is definitly turning out to be one of the oddest deer season's I've seen.
I wasn't really seeing much for deer myself during archery seasons both north & south. But yet its turned out to be my best archery season ever. I arrowed a doe in early season in the north, only being the 3rd deer I'd seen. Then I arrowed my biggest buck ever during South archery. For him I was setup just inside a bedding area at intersecting trails, and along a active scrapeline. In he came at 8am. At the time, becasue of my lack of sightings I'd hit the bedding areas, and it paid off. The following wk my brother setup in the same area, and had a decent buck come in, and hit the same exact scrape!
Now since the guns are banging away I have yet to see a single deer in 2 wknds of hunting with the shotgun down south. Up north with the rifle I've seen just a small doe. Pathetic!!
