Default My Two Deer from Yesterday

Went out with my uncle yesterday in New Jersey for the muzzleoader opener and scored on two deer, my first with the smokepole. I was very impressed by the gun, liked it a lot and will definately be picking one up for next year.

The first was a doe at about 15 yards or even less which came in at about 3:30pm. She dropped in place. The second is a 2 1/2 year old pitiful spike, but it had a big body and I actually thought it was a doe. I took him at about 40 yards. He piled up after about 100 yards. An old man was congratulating me on that one for getting it out of the gene pool!

I am not really good with again, but a few guys were looking at it and all agreed on 2 1/2. We were the last to come in, so everyone kind of gathered around when we got there.

wow good thing you shot that deer, he was either going to be a monster and is 1 year old with antlers, instead of buttons,or a 2.5 with horrible horrible genes.
