"From reading previous posts it appears ALL PA Lic sales are yet tallied. So how can PGC Lic sales be down if all sales have not been tallied??"

"AJ", so your question is....why would the agency put out incomplete and inaccurate info?
Some of us have been asking that very same question for years. I'll let you make the conclusion.

Why doesn't the data include "antlerless licenses" ???
Shouldn't Antlerless Lic sales be included in the total Lic sales data that has been presented here as going down.
Antlerless license sales are influenced by the number allocated. Many hunters purchase multiple antlerless licenses so presently there is no way of knowing how many individual hunters are actually purchasing the antlerless licenses that were allocated.

Since anyone wanting to purchase an antlerless license has to first have a regular license that is the best measure of actual hunter numbers.

The PGC just cant win with you can they? The first several pages are filled with you clamoring "where are the numbers?" Now you are compaining that they put out incomplete information.

We know, we know , NOTHING THE PGC DOES WILL EVER SATISFY OL CRAZY HORSE OR HIS USP CRONIES!

I'm sorry, but the agency should be able to show enough professionalism to at least put forth information that is timely as well as complete. If they don't have the capabilities to do something as basic as that then perhaps they should seek other employment.

Even McDonalds can tell you exactly how many hamburgers they sold last month.

The PGC is still a government entity. As such, some bureaucratic inefficiencies are to be expected. Overall, they operate with more awareness of their constituency simply because license buyers are their primary cash cow. That doesnt mean they have to do their reporting to satisfy the likes of the USP. It would be perfectly reasonable for any of corporate America, including McDonalds or WalMart to have last months sales out by the 15Th of the next month. By the way, Mcdonalds and Walmart are the retailers. The PGC is the wholesaler depending on independnet vendors to report the sales to them. It is understandable that they may not have recieved all the infornation from their vendors on time. One of which is WalMart by the way.

Oh, and by the way, where do you find the sales figures on Mcdonalds hamburgers by the 15thof the following month. You made the declaration. All we ask is that you back up what you say.
