Got back out Tues. afternoon and this morning. Seeing increased deer activity, mostly does. No shots taken. Good news, managed to not drop my bow on both outings. I'm getting better!

Have had a crappy season thus far, 3 out of 4 times out have not seen a thing!!! The one and only doe I have had in range winded me before I could pull the trigger..stupid pine tree branches got in the way.
Have not even seen a buck yet!!! But plenty of season left.

lousy, so far. the deer are not where they usually are. been hunting this same area in wyoming county for 12 years and have never had a problem seeing deer like i've had this year. very little sign of deer also. have not seen a buck yet. acorns all over the area too. no rubs, no scrapes{little early}, no deer. i know they are there but, they aren't moving vey much. i know it will get better but it's a little depressing spending all the hours in a tree to see a few does that aren't even in range. trying to stay positive. GOOD LUCK TO ALL!

Finally hammered saturday night, a nice size doe. Took both lungs and the top of her heart out, went 50 yards and piled up!! Love those 4 blade muzzys!!!
10 point, i have not been seeing many deer here hunting around tunkhannock. Suspect its due to the large # of unpicked cornfields around. Went spotlighting last week and all the deer were around corn, none were in the green fields. Till they pick it I think we will be out of luck, However my drivers are reporting alot of buck movement during the day now...just started the past couple of days!! the rutt is kicking in GET PUMPED!!!!!

ilbback, where i hunt in nicholson i don't have access to hunt the fields. the farmer next to me does not like archery hunting or doe hunting. it is the same way every year. the first couple weeks of archery is always slow till the deer filter back into the woods. was out last night after work and saw two does at 45 yards but too many limbs in the way. i am looking forward to the bucks turning on. can't wait. congrats on the doe. good shootin! now you can concentrate on the big one. GOOD LUCK. i'll let you know how i make out. goin again saturday with grunt call and rattlin horns.

Broke the ice last evening with the bow (baldy) and busted the cherry on the inline I won in a raffle this morning. Big country got a doe this evening in a new honey hole we got invited into today.
