First time archery hunting...
Last Friday I got my doe. Combed the woods since the beginning of the season. Seen a lot of deer but had no luck. Came in Fri morn. and got ready for work. On my way out the door I look towards the woods and there were two doe. Went and grabbed my bow (barehanded with no release) and got ready to shoot from my doorway. A small 8 point started to come down the hill but he sensed a trap and trotted away. I aimed at shot at one of the doe and thought I missed. Set the bow down and looked and could see it about 50 feet from where I shot at it. Got it thru the neck just in front of the shoulder. Shot distance was about 30 yards. Hubby is proud of me!<img src=icon_smile_approve.gif border=0 align=middle>
