so i can take a radio hunting, and i can talk to ym hunting buddies, but if i jump a 10 point, and he is headed right towards someone else, i cant tell them. Can i say "theres somehting I cant tell you about, that may or may not be going in your direction!"??
Any one have proof of this in NY?

There are no regulations on the use of 2-way radios in the NYS hunting law handbook you get when you buy your license. My group has been using them for four or five years to fix positions on guys that need help dragging one out, check up on older and younger hunters in our group and notify a buddy of a jumped deer headed their way. I know in some state’s that’s not legal, but New York is currently not one of them. Hope this helps.
If you do use them, I suggest dropping the extra $$ on an earpiece and PTT mike; that way sound isn’t being broadcast through the woods.
