There is alot of State Land near Geaorgetown - especailly south into Chenengo County (rifle country these days)
I don't know of a public hunting land referred to as a Mountain around Geaorgetown - but could be wrong - or its a local name.
We hear of Mueller hill, Fire tower road, sometimes - just "the State Land" as names noted.

chasam, its not stoney pond, alot of kids from college go there camping and stuff, and i know it isnt there.
but i did find it on the link, its Morrow Mountain State Forest. Morrisville State College has some land and a cabin bordering it, that you have to drive thorugh or around the state land to get to.
and farm, im pretty sure it is right near fire tower road
